North Laurel Neighborhood Opposed to Proposed Milk Plant Land Development

Gail Brown, a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fulton, approached me while I was manning the Mardi Gras Pancake Dinner table (sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 12524) in the gathering space of the church. She asked me if I could make mention in the Howard County Times Neighborhood section about the petition that is being circulated in the North Laurel area opposing the infill development of the Milk Plant property as it currently exists.

One of the real neighborhood concerns about the plan as it currently exists is that the develop shows only one entrance and exit from the proposed development. Morning and afternoon traffic is already bad along that stretch of road. Imagine what a nightmare it will be when additional local traffic is added into the already crowded vehicle mix.

The petition can be found here. Check out the neighborhood Facebook page
