Emmanuel United Methodist Church will be holding their annual Community-Wide Recycling & Bikes for the World Collection on Saturday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to noon. Goodwill Industries will be onsite (10751 Scaggsville Road) to collect electronics in any condition (no TVs) and any other donations. They will also be collecting rigid plastics, household batteries, Styrofoam, packing peanuts and eye glasses. *Bikes for the World* will be collecting bicycles and portable sewing machines to be sent to developing countries; therefore a $10 donation is requested to help defray overseas shipping costs.
Please NOTE: EUMC can no longer accept household hazardous waste (HHW) such as paints, cleaners, chemicals, etc., so please take your HHW to Alpha Ridge Landfill.
